I figured something out on my drive to work today (Thursday).
I’ve been mulling this post over since I read the previous one about “Eating their own” when it went up earlier Wednesday.

The comment; “Eating their own” is illustrative - These are people who idolize Che Guava. Che turned on his own supporters - indeed his best friend - when Che came to power. Che was a ruthless, backstabbing scum. And may leftist liberals idolize him.

In the same vane that ‘cops always shoot the cardboard dog’ leads to ‘you perform the way you practice’, we have ‘you idolize the people who you would emulate’.

…

I hope the Left fractures to the point where I can associate with people who hold liberal social opinions but do not support “Le Revolution!”. Know what I mean?

I think there is a segment of “liberals” who need to work on distinguishing themselves from the “leftists”. I don’t really have a problem with the former. Just like I don’t have a problem with “Muslims”, but I have a problem with “Islamists”. (Referential insult intended.)
