Guns in parks

Via Carl, looks like there’s a bill before the Tennessee senate to allow those with CCW permits to carry in any refuge, public hunting area, or wildlife management area. There are calls to push this bill in light of the recent bear attack that killed a small child.

This bill failed in Naifeh’s gun-bill-killer committee (Constitutional Protections subcommittee) on 3/29

The House version that is. So…it’s dead thanks to Naifeh.

Here in Washington State, we can carry WITHOUT a CCW in route to, in route from, and while actively participating in a “lawful outdoor activity” which is pretty broadly defined. Tthey give examples such as fishing, hunting, hiking, horseback riding etc.

    Not too shabby.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
