Posted by: SayUncleWe need a Godwin’s Law for guns. I’m proposing one: “As a discussion about guns grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Dodge City or the Wild West approaches one.”
However, I’d change it from discussion about guns to discussion about concealed carry.

I wouldn’t. The Wild West analogies may be most popular when discussing CCW, but they come up in other gun-related contexts, too.
So far the bizaarest name I’ve been called for being pro-gun is “homophobic.” Rationale: people who support the RKBA are conservative, and conservatives hate gays.
