I laughed

That’s exactly why I’ve never put gun-related signage or symbols on my vehicle. It’s fine and dandy if other people do it. I just don’t want to be that guy.

  2. Ron W Says:

Yep, Lyle. I did have a Gun Owners of America sticker on my truck, but took it off since here lately, there’s been much more prejudice, bigotry and hate toward gun owners as the left and their media allies have demonized us.

  3. Ellen Says:

*Whatever* you say or do, there are lots of people who will take offense. Some of them will be vigorous about it. I don’t use bumper stickers, or answer polls. I just keep my licenses and permits up to date, and vote.

  4. JTC Says:

I don’t give a fuck about anybody taking offense, but I do give a fuck about some useless fuck figuring if there’s a pro-gun message, there’s gotta be a gun in there to steal. And even though only a moron leaves a gun in a vehicle that advertises it, even if you don’t, said advertising can result in busted windows and worse.

Stupid thing to do…and this will likely invite some incoming, but it’s kinda like OC, advertising that invites problems with zero upside.

  5. Ron W Says:

It’s better to wear your “signage and symbols” on your person, i.e., caps, shirts, lapel pins, etc. along with your gun, not left in your vehicle. In my experience, such wear has sometimes been a good conversation starter.

  6. JTC Says:

@Ron W, agreed about the caps and shirts (collected lotsa that swag in 40 years behind the counter), but IMO it’s much better to let that make others wonder if there’s hardware on your person too…even if not (and if not why not?) you might some interesting conversations out of it…and some deterrent effect too.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
