Respect

I don’t have any particular nostalgia for the politics of Bob Dole. But as a person, he seems like a good guy. He’s funny and not afraid of self-deprecating humor. He was a war hero. He always seemed to be a class act. And, at 95 years of age, he’s still a class act:

Got a little dusty in here.

He is worthy of our respect.

His wife was worthy of being President, but we missed that opportunity.

NO wet eyes here. I cannot – and never will – mourn the death of a criminal or a thief. GHWBush – Mr. “New World Order” and “No new taxes” – was both. Anyone who would ‘salute’ such an evil man is himself evil.

Scenes like the above were numerous in Russia, and other like-minded countries. The song, “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas” should be rewritten: “It’s beginning to look a lot like Communism”, in the USA.

Apologies to our host for the rant.

Uh, you guys know that Bob Dole’s right arm doesn’t work anymore, right?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
