IIRC, Trump did not call the media the “enemy of the people”. He called “fake news” that.

I said at DBD that Sarah had the perfect response to Acosta accosting her for a statement that the media is not the enemy of the people…
“Well Jim, can you answer this right here right now…is the media is the enemy of Trump?”
To which a “no” would be recognized all across the world as (another) bald-faced lie.
And a “yes” would answer his own question; as the enemy of the President duly elected by the people certainly makes him the enemy of them too.

@Heath J, I suppose if there’s a conspiracy against a “conspiracy theorist”, it’s not a conspiracy. And, oh yeah, a mass of editorials on the same day isn’t collusion. Oh, BTW, “collusion” and “conspiracy” are synonyms.
I just happened to watch a brief NBC report this AM (a rare occurrence) reporting that the President had revoked John Brennan’s security clearance–as though it was a travesty. Then the reporter says, “maybe he’s said things some people don’t like, but he still has the right to say them.” What!!!??? They reported it as though Trump had taken away his right to free speech!!! A total disconnect!! NBC has ZERO credibility!

There is an old saying “if the shoe fits, wear it”. Trump attacked fake news; he did not attack freedom of the press.
If the Boston Glob and its 300 fellow travelers claim they were attacked by Trump, they are in effect admitting that what they traffic in is fake news.

First, it’s not 300 media outlets, it’s 6 Billionaires that own those 300 outlets and approve or disapprove of ‘the message.’
Six men….not 300.
And that, is the whole issue and why no one trusts the media….We should say we don’t trust 6 owners.
