Shooting at a newspaper

Remember, initial reports are almost always wrong. But it looks like four dead by a guy used a shotgun.

In another gun-free zone, especially in Maryland, a slave state where, as I understand, citizens are forbidden from CCW.

  2. Lyle Says:

Joe Biden tells us that if we’re feeling nervous we should put a couple of shotgun blasts through the front door (hmm…does one of his relatives own a home renovation business?). Maybe the shooter was following that advice in a more general sort of way.

    From the Zero Hedge article;
“I’m a police reporter. I write about this stuff – not necessarily to this extent, but shootings and death – all the time,” he said. “But as much as I’m going to try to articulate how traumatizing it is to be hiding under your desk, you don’t know until you’re there and you feel helpless.”

Yes, well there are the helpless, and then on the other hand there are the armed. I guess you want all of us to be and feel as helpless as you?

“It was like a war zone”

    No, Young Grasshopper; in a war zone there are two sides shooting at one another. Rather, this was probably a “gun free zone”. In your “gun free zone” only the bad guy is armed while everyone else tends to cower in helplessness and wait their turn to die. Get your terminology right. We will fix that quote then, thusly;

“It was like a gun free zone in there”

See? Now it makes some sense.

  3. Fred Says:

Isn’t it illegal to walk into a building and start blasting people with a shotgun? Oh well, better make it illegaler.

  4. Huck Says:

There’s nothing “illegaler” than murder. Now if that doesn’t stop looneys from walking into a building and shooting people, no gun laws and/or signs are going to do so either.

  5. rickn8or Says:

Lyle, perhaps Unca Joe should ask “Blade Runner” how that shit works when you don’t have a Secret Service detail 24/7

  6. Tim Says:

“It was like a gun free zone in there”

Imma hafta borrow that if you don’t mind, Lyle……

  7. Ravenwood Says:

“It was like a gun free zone in there”

Lyle/Tim… definitely gonna steal that one and make it my own.

  8. Ron W Says:

@Lyle, You got Joe all wrong! He said to step out the BACKDOOR and fire a couple of blasts from a double barrel shotgun. Apparently that’s all Joe will let you have.

When someone asked Joe about the NRA instructor confronting and wounding the Texas church shooter with his AR-15, likely on his way to another church to kill, Ol’ Joe only sneered “he should not have had that rifle.”

And “it was like a gun-free zone in there!” Excellent! May I have permission to quote that too?

  9. Ron W Says:

This perp’s use of a shotgun is an interesting fact in this case. Like many “hunting” shotguns, it could be a family firearm purchased long before it would have been in the government’s database and able to be traced to anyone. He had also “mutilated” his fingertips so as not to leave fingerprints. It’s possible this perp meant to run in, kill, make a quick exit leaving a possibly untraceable shotgun behind and maybe have an accomplice to pick him up. Or simply tuck his long hair under a cap or tie it into a “man bun” and calmly walk away.

Oh, but wait! It’s now reported that he had an ongoing feud with this publication going back to 2011 and had made a recent social media threat. But reportedly they had no clue yesterday who he was and the police arrived in an incredible 60 seconds. Seems they were ready to make an apprehension, but not quite quick enough to “serve and protect”.

In another report, some other employee retrieved two pistols from his desk drawer in fear of his life. Perhaps the slave state of Maryland can make an example of this person by prosecuting for the vile act of being armed in a gun free zone.

  10. Lyle Says:

Tim, Ravenwood, Ron, and anyone else; by all means, borrow it, steal it, make it your own, run with it, and don’t look back.

Ron; Yes, Ol’ Unca Joe (noted gun and defense expert) did recommend firing a blast or two into the air, thus endangering others in the neighborhood (especially if you’re using buckshot, but I doubt whether Joe understands that shotgun shells come in a wide variety of loadings), but he did also recommend firing through your door if you’re nervous about what’s on the other side (front or backdoor, let’s say it doesn’t matter).

  11. Ron W Says:

@Lyle, That doesn’t surprise me that Joe Biden would also say fire through a door. He’s an idiot.

  12. JTC Says:

“Remember, initial reports are almost always wrong”

And since those are the reports most widely seen, that is often by design. Like in this instance…

“The shooter is described as a white male…”

Well yeah, in the same way that G. Zimmerman is a white male. Because, you know, narrative.

By the time the Hispanic surname was reported, that seed of elitist hatred and reverse racism has been sown. And it can’t be un-sown or unheard, not that the prog PR machine, or for that matter its target market, would want it to be.

  13. Ron W Says:

@JTC, yes, correct about initial reports. As I recall, the MSM came up with a new term for George Zimmerman, a “white Hispanic”. As I have said to others, if his name had been Jorge Gonzalez or some other Hispanic surname, that incident would have probably never been national news and Trayvon Martin would have never looked like a son of Obama– according to the then President. Otherwise, it may have been the NAACP vs. The National Council of La Raza (The Race) and that narrative would have not been allowed.

  14. JTC Says:

Ron W, nah they didn’t come up with that, they just used it after the fact as a modifier after the damage had been done…

Key word is “white” which to them is one damning epithet that they use in any context where it demeans white people in general or creates and foments even more of the hatred that is their stock-in-trade and entire raison d’etre.

  15. Ron W Says:

Well, JTC, it cleared the way for Obama to say, “if I had a son, he would’ve looked like Trayvon.” And then the “due process of law” by citizen jurors was dismissed as injustice by Obama playing “the race card”.

  16. rickn8or Says:

JTC, Angela Corey saw “Zimmermann” and said “Hot damn! I got me a Bernhard Goetz to prosecute!” and started the ball rolling before finding out the facts.

  17. JTC Says:

    Ron and rick…yup.

Racism is rampant, it just doesn’t always mean what “they” think it means.

FWIW, nothing I said above should be construed in any way to compare the two, except as to their ethnicity and MM’s burning desire to demonize mine.

Never has there been a more justified homicide than Zimmerman’s of Martin (although different actions by Z leading up to it might have precluded the necessity of effectively ending of his own life too).

And never could there be a more justified eternal damnation and suffering of a soul than God will impose on the other POS.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
