Bump stock rule change

Today is the last day to comment on the proposed changes. You can comment here.

ATF is looking like it will reverse it’s 10 previous rulings that these are not machine guns, at the direction of Trump and Sessions. And they’re doing so by disregarding the law.

” And they’re doing so by disregarding the law.”

Not to mention physical, objective reality.

Eventually someone will commit a new atrocity in the US using a firearm.

And when that happens, look for another push to ban semiauto rifles and pistols and magazines holding more than 10 rounds.

And when the next atrocity occurs, after that, look for another push to ban them.

And when the next atrocity occurs, another.

Repeat until an effort succeeds at the Supreme Court to define “arms” in the 2nd Amendment better than Heller did.

Or until a ban passes, at which time it gets really interesting.

as a life long Alabamian (ok, technically I was born in unincorporated Jefferson Parrish, LA, and didn’t move here until I was two), I would like to apologize for whatever small part of inflicting Jefferson Beauregard Sessions on the greater part of the united states. Honestly, until he got to DOJ, I didn’t realize what a giant chooch he was and disliked Shelby more by a huge margin. I still dislike Shelby more (he had the bar I saw Dick Dale play in torn down to make room for a new federal courthouse. what in the name of red neckerson and his good buddy mr. greenteeth did Tuscaloosa need a new _Federal_ courthouse for? no idea, but it’s got that bastard’s name on it.) but the bar is a lot narrower now.
