Somebody swatted David Hogg

Someone should go to jail for it. And if that someone is on my team, I want them off.

Well I do remember one Tawana Brawley. Just sayin’, and The “Tawana Brawley tactic”, or mindset, is alive and well, and popular.

So I won’t jump to any conclusions whatsoever other than the fact that some incident apparently happened for some as-yet unknown reason, and is being reported for some as-yet unknown reason, with the understanding that media sources virtually always have a less-than-honorable agenda.

“And if that someone is on my team, I want them off.”

I hear that! Plus, that crap just gives that ‘lil turd more publicity.

  3. bobby Says:

Swatting is a serious crime and misuse of public resources.

Patrick (Patterico) Frey was swatted back in 2011. A gamer was killed during a Swatting late last year.

Find them, prosecute them, and put them away.

  4. Beans Says:

Oh, let’s see. Media shouts to the world that the Hogg is not in the building. ‘Someone’ calls SWAT on vacant house. The Hogg immediately uses moment to push his agenda.

    Hmmmm.

Nothing to see here, move it along, move it along.

  5. Daniel Schwartz Says:

Agreed completely – except that “swatting” should probably be called something far less innocuous, e.g. “attempted murder by cop”.

I’m also not aware that swatting is a crime. It should be, as should any malicious act that gets innocent people killed. But I’m not a lawyer, and I don’t know how such a law would be constructed, without making the cure worse than the disease.

  6. wolfwalker Says:

There may not be a law specifically against swatting, but there certainly is one against filing a false police report. I’m pretty sure that most states also have criminal penalties for malicious misuse of the 911 system. As for a “malicious act that gets innocent people killed” — that’s already a felony in a lot of states, if not all of them. In my state, it would be called either manslaughter or murder two depending on the circumstances.

From the few things I’ve seen, it seems like the little bastard pulled this himself or orchestrated it. Kid is a giant narcissistic attention whore.

  9. Mike Says:

Swatters should go to prison, no matter who they target.

  10. Paul Says:

Strange… Hoggs was not there when the SWAT teams came.. nor were his parents. Kind of like maybe Hogg himself called it in to gin up his PR.

  11. JTC Says:

If any indication comes to light of his involvement, I guaranfuckingtee you’ll never hear about it. OTOH, the more this pale imitation of an Obama wannabe has his smarmy face in the news, the more NICS records will be broken.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
