You never see the press do this

Tucker Carlson calls out an idiot who makes ridiculous claims about AR-15s:

Good job by Tucker. If the press were better informed, or perhaps even curious or objective about the subjects they cover, we might see better reporting.

Someone should get a 600 rpm firearm do a few mag dumps up to 150 rounds and have him lick the barrel.

  3. Lyle Says:

Let’s argue over technical performance specs instead of unalienable rights.

Yes, the cyclic rate may be around 600 rpm (about ten per second) and no that doesn’t add up to a capability of fire a total of 600 rounds in a single minute. That’s not how it works.

No the gun won’t get near it’s melting point in fifteen seconds even if you had a belt-fed action on full auto that fired actually 150 rounds (which it could do). A gun will blow the barrel long before it reaches melting point. I very much doubt that Rucker Carlson knows much about metal-working and the properties of various steel alloys at various temperatures, nor do most of you commenting here, I expect (cue the idiotic discussion of the Twin Towers for example).

So no, I’m not impressed by the technical knowledge of either one of those douchebags. Unfortunately neither one of them apparently wanted to discuss basic rights or how the act of further violating those rights would make the world worse, not better. Nor do I believe either one is qualified in that arena either, so all we have here is a distraction. Move along, nothing to see here.

We’ve had all the “conversations” anyway, and so the only one left to have is; “Leave me alone, get out of my business, or else…” Or from the Christian point of view; “Love God, love thy neighbor, and by the way Jesus is Lord, and Satan is the Prince of the World who will eventually be utterly destroyed, and denying these truths and these laws is to your own undoing”. Take your pick.

Yes! The issue is that the Federal Government has NO delegated powers re: gun laws pertains to the People. And according to the plain wording of the 10th Amendment, without enumerated delegated power it may do NOTHING. It may only govern such part of the militia which is in its service and EMPLOYED. (Article I, Section 8.-6)

The dependent clause with “militia” in the 2nd Amendment sentence, references that “restrictive clause” in the enumerated as the Preamble to the Bill of Rights says to “prevent abuses and usurpations” by the government.

Lyle, have you considered the possibility that it’s better NOT to attack the guys who are on your side — even if their arguments don’t meet the ideals you want them to achieve? Instead of attacking them, perhaps you might try to educate them some more.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
