One thing to take into account was the weather was much worse the day of the show than the previous two weekends.

  2. Ron W Says:

Immoderate weather and armed citizens make are poor conditions for criminals.

Paxton Quigley, I believe, documented this phenomenon many moons ago in her book, Armed and Female. In it she describes an even she held, for women wanting to defend themselves. It made something of a splash in the local news, especially after it was attended in huge numbers, and for some time after that the violent crime in that area had dropped sharply.

This is one reason why the global authoritarian confederacy hates private gun ownership so much; it discourages the operations of their street thug allies. It’s difficult to agitate when your privateers are afraid to agitate. If that goes on for too long, people begin to acquire confidence, they might realize they’re better off without so many laws, restrictions and government departments, and that would be the end of the authoritarians’ world.

They hate the image of what they’ve referred to as the “Wild West”, not because it was violent (it wasn’t), but because sociopathic dirtbags like them either had to do honest work for a living (perish the thought), or take up petty crime, or starve. That’s the worst possible scenario in their minds, and the mere shadow of a thought of it sends them into a panic.

@Lyle, That’s an excellent analysis of the rabid anti-gun rights for the People agenda by “the global authoritarian confederacy” which wants to take from us what they have and keep or themselves.

Talking to DPD Fugitive Task Force officer Sunday morning, he was bored… “All the usual suspects are no where to be found. It’s been so quiet I’ve had trouble staying awake!”

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
