This tactic seems to be on the rise. The left is capitalizing on the recent shootings to normalize fear of guns. Our department recently had complaint lodged against one of our officers for stopping in a sandwich shop while on duty in uniform to pick up bite to eat. The complaint was because he had his gun on. No shit, he’s on duty…….

It’s a variation on SWATing someone. The snarling leftist agitator makes the call out of a desire to harass someone, with the hidden hope that the person gets killed. Of course there are some police departments that are willing to oblige.
