   But before registration, there is “universal background check”.
   Don’t forget that. There is no valid reason for universal background check — the only possible purpose is to establish a national database of all (legal) gun sales, which translates, very nearly, into a national database of gun owners. THAT is the purpose, nothing else.

   @Paul Koning, you’re correct. And that violates the 4th and 5th Amendments which the “universal background check” proponents otherwise usually hold sacred. Just today, with Zuckerberg’s, the same were blathering on about protecting privacy, but when it comes to those who exercise their 2nd Amendment rights, protecting privacy, the 4th Amendment and 5th Amendments are happily crushed by these phony, so-called liberals who so easily morph into fascists.

   I believe the solution would be to inform others that “universal background check” is code for registration, and registration is only used for confiscation by tyrants, and that anyone who proposes such a thing is a traitor to the Constitution and the Republic. We should also vote those who are in favor of universal background checks out of office or recall them. Gun Owners of America is an organization that is against such a thing, as opposed to the NRA who, I believe, are in favor of it.
