Quote of the day

Glenn:

Ill believe Florida is serious about gun violence when Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel is fired from the job he so royally screwed up.

And I’ll believe Prof Reynolds is not another idiot programmed by the word-commandeering of the left that was discussed yesterday when he stops parroting their agenda-promoting term for the non-existent thing they and he call “gun violence”.

  2. harp1034 Says:

The Sheriff is elected. Just have to hope he is not re-elected.

  3. Crawler Says:

The Obama/Holder “PROMISE” Program (Preventing Recidivism through Opportunities, Mentoring, Interventions, Supports & Education) is totally responsible for the senseless Florida high school massacre.

When law enforcement is notified 66 times about one loony-tune individual and does absolutely nothing it’s case closed as far as I’m concerned.

When the federal government/feral gruberment pays school districts big bucks to not arrest, suspend or expel bad students, one can be assured that self-enriching scumbags like Israel will always be near with their grubby hands extended out.

@ JTC, I’ve pointed that out to him frequently on his blog to no avail.

  5. Ron W Says:

They can’t fire the Sheriff. That would incur the ire of young David Hogg. He was even riled up about the modest school safety measure of clear backpacks.

  6. Lyle Says:

Yeah; not a screw-up, but a planned operation. If we can’t call a criminal conspiracy a criminal conspiracy, sedition sedition, or an act of war and act of war, then we’ll never be in a position to deal with the problem. The first, has often been said, is admitting you have a problem.

We cannot see what we will not see– This came down from the top, much like Operation Fast & Furious (and what’s become of THAT one?). The sheriff was/is an accessory. Their plausible deniability lies significantly in our incredulity.

    We’re like a division of soldiers taking mortar fire from an enemy that has sworn repeatedly for over a hundred years that they’re going to wipe us out. We’ve retreated to our last refuge, and we’re saying to that enemy as they launch their forty-thousandth assault in what is their final mop-up operation against us;

“Hey, you idiots!! Don’t you know you could HURT someone doing that?!! Why; we’re going to report you to your superiors if this keeps up! THAT’s what we’re going to do, by gosh, oh golly!!!”

And they laugh and laugh at their good fortune and at our stupidity, as we call them the stupid ones.

  7. JTC Says:

As to that “gun violence”. The proper term in almost all cases where that is used would be “armed —–“…as in armed assault, armed robbery etc.

But this dude ain’t helping much; I do wish some people would stay off our side.Politician clueless to the irony

“Guns don’t kill people, people kill people” he intones.

And then goes about pulling that peaceful innocent tool out of its holster, adding that catalyst second component (his meathook) and putting himself and everybody in that room at risk. Not to mention under the CC laws of many states, committing a crime.

Not helping. I would have left that room; SA and all that. Not because of a guy holding a gun, but because of an idiot holding one. This kind of shit gets people killed, reinforces antis view of us as reckless gunslingers, and gives those peaceful innocent tools a bad name.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
