This is a massive area that we, and the NRA, are missing out on. We need more, explicit, outreach to black and minority communities. The way the NRA and Dana Loesch did Philando Castile was wrong in so many ways.

Guys, this is actually reasonable. I don’t think it’s fair to make fun of it, and I’m not being sarcastic. We know that schools are actually quite safe, and the whole idea that school children are at risk of being the victims of mass shootings is false. They are incredibly rare and are becoming rarer each year. (The Reason foundation has been covering these statistics lately.)
But what isn’t rare is gun violence in black communities. Look at Chicago. Regardless of the cause, they undoubtably have a major problem with gun violence.
But you’ll notice that mass movements about gun violence only get started when WHITE kids get killed. It really is somewhat racist, in that violence among blacks is ignored by the national media and by large anti-gun organizations. They only get going when white kids die.
The same can be said about the so-called “campus rape crisis”. Sexual assault is actually rarer on college campuses than in the general population. However, it’s sky-high in housing projects and poor areas where blacks live. But nobody is marching about that. Instead you only hear white middle-to-upper class people complaining that they are the victims.
From a purely strategic point of view, the anti-gun folks are making a mistake by attacking each other over this. But they’re probably right about the racism.

Also too white; Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin, Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini. Hmm; all leftist/authoritarians as well. Should we give mention to the various Cesars, and the Pope? And let’s not leave out the Asians; Mao & Pol Pot, to name only the two. And we must’nt forget Hito and Tojo.
Then again, racist, elitist, genocidal tyrants are found in all colors and on all continents, and not just in the Democratic/Confederate Party.
