The gunny side reacts

NRA’s political fund sees donations spike in February after Florida shooting. And you should join too. Or send them a check if you’re a member.

And NICS checks in February were the second highest ever. The previous record was 2016 when people thought Hillary would win.

And don’t forget about the Second Amendment Foundation. They need bux too. I am life in NRA and SAF. I don’t give to GOA or NAGR because I consider both of those “organizations” SCAMS.

  2. Jody Says:

I don’t support pro gun control groups.

Yeah well, money translates only very indirectly into the kind of moral fortitude required to stand up for human rights and win. Some might say that money and moral fortitude are infrequent co habitators.

The battle for the hearts and minds of Americans has a lot of fronts, and the battle for liberty will be won or lost in the hearts and minds of Americans.

Yeah so I gave them an extra twenty five bucks. Maybe it’ll go toward lipstick for Dana Loesch, or some furniture polish for the multi-million-dollar NRA museum.

I just renewed my membership from here in sunny Oz.

It seems to me that America is an idea rather than a specific place, and there are Americans all over the globe, who just haven’t arrived yet – kind of like Texas and Texans.

  5. Angus Mcthag Says:

    OK, NRA, you’re funded.

    FIGHT!

All you did in FL is have a dottering grandma send a couple emails once were were already doing what the email was asking us to do.

@FiftycalTX, yes! I’m a Gun Owners of America member. Several of the citizen disarmament politicians have said that GOA is “much worse” than the NRA. I appreciate that because as a quote I’ve seen says, “I’d rather be despised by the despicable than admired by the admirable.”

I didn’t say “anti-gun politicians” because they are pro gun for themselves. In their gun control legislation, they always EXEMPT THEMSELVES.

Those who want to take from others what they have and keep for themselves are evil.

  7. Sigivald Says:

I’ve sort of enjoyed watching the Left freak out about this.

It’s like they’re shocked that inevitable calls to Ban All The Scary Guns lead people to actually support their opposition.

And with real money, not just talk and astroturf.

  8. JTC Says:

    No surprise on the NICS.

Second biggest compared to a president hillzabeast because it’s the second biggest threat we’ve seen, with all manner of politicians supporting or pretending to support some actual limitations on rights…well, adds to the national armory, already at better than a 1 to 1 ratio.

Wonder how many of those new buys are teachers responding to their opportunity to defend themselves and their students? As Tam says in a good piece on arming teachers, it sounds almost like conscription with teachers being forced to arm themselves and take a ninja course. That’s a tactic of course when the truth is that all that is asked is for these citizens to be able to take the same responsibility on the job as they do in all other places and aspects of their lives.

  9. Ron W Says:

Israel long since stopped school shootings by allowing arming of the adults in the schools. But there are many here who incredibly persist in keeping our students, teachers and principals as unarmed victims while politicians, wealthy elites, pro athletes and others enjoy armed protection. Many of these are those who have and keep what they want to take or deny to others. Very evil!!

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
