Monopolies of information

YouTube is targeting the gun culture. So is Reddit. But Reddit is small potatoes compared to Google. This action from Google will impact the next generation of shooters in that they won’t have access to information. And there could be fewer of them.

So, regulation is coming? Government has busted monopolies before.

We knew the plan was to get us all hooked on it, so we could then be manipulated with it. We did know it all along, didn’t we?

  2. Jonathan Says:

Being a private corporation, YouTube can decide what content they want to host, and what content they don’t want to host.

I hear some gun channels are moving to PornHub. This amuses me.

  3. AR-15 Shooter Says:

Unfortunately, we need to look for other video hosting companies.

There are a slew of alternatives, not sure how much people will lose in monetary gains by doing so, but if one is censored, I assume it wouldn’t matter if their goal is to get content out.

  5. Jay Dee Says:

Alternatives to the gun bigots are cropping up every day. Here are a few.

    Use DuckDuckGo instead of Google.

Use MeWe & Gun District in place of Facebook.

Use Gab in place of Twitter

There are any number of video hosting companies; not the least is PornHub. Youtube is only a monopoly because it belongs to Google and Google points to YouTube.

I was never much of a Reddit fan but I’m sure that alternatives are available.

If they don’t want our business, they can go forth and multiply with themselves.

Demonization of gun owners is a winning strategy.
Making firearms as socially acceptable as a painful STD to almost all kids will make it harder to convert the next generation into gun ownership.
Fight it. Take kids to the range today, tomorrow, and next week.

Wrong. YouTube positions itself as the new “Town Square”. They INVITE the public onto its property, and therefore are not private. From a legal standing, when YouTube enforces Copyrights (in posted videos) – or when it gets sued for violating Copyrights – it sure can be held liable for violating unalienable rights, like 1A.

If YouTube continues to infringe on the Constitutional Rights of Americans, it’s just itching to be regulated as a common carrier like a telecom or utility. Voila! No more of this BS! (you’d think they’d learn, yet, sadly, continue on their self-destructive course).

  8. Ron W Says:

So other companies and businesses open to the public can exclude or refuse to serve those who use their rights and freedoms in ways of which they don’t approve?

  9. Siergen Says:

Regulating Google will also mean regulating all similar Internet services. Then government bureaucrats will be able to impose the same anti-gun and anti-free speech rules on all of them.

  10. Michael Says:

This is not a path we want to go down.

We win by winning the culture. It is doable.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
