There are some surprises among the astroturf, such as author Ralph Peters, supposedly a retired army officer. See last weekend’s op ed by Peggy Noonan in the Wall St. Journal. One red flag is his claim that AR-15s are only good for mass murder, since they are lousy for target shooting and don’t work for hunting either (“unless you want to shred the animal”).

So Ralph Peters, the “retired Army Officer” (?) is saying that the Army’s primary Rifle is a peace of shit when he says that it’s “lousy for target shooting”.

Maybe it’s Russian collusion… Mixing up the AR-15 with the AK47, which is lousy for target shooting. Well, depending on the target.

These guys are pros at this packaged protest shit, like I said on the previous post about age discrimination lawsuits, we should take a page from them.
“Too bad we don’t have the astroturf organization like the libs…how you do a test case is find a few clean-cut well-spoken military men 18-20 years old -yes I said men- attempting to exercise their Constitutional right to the tools for a little off-time recreation and being denied by counter borgs at DickMart. And do it in Jersey which has some of the strongest anti-discrimation statutes in the country, has a shit ton of said DickMarts to try to patronize, and two shit tons of media that will be forced to carry a big story in its own back yard.”

If wikipedia is to be believed, Peters was a retired Lt. Colonel who worked in military intelligence. I’d bet it’s been a loooong time since he’s fired an M-16.

An AR-15 or other semi-auto rifle is an excellent self defense weapon, especially against multiple assailants like a home invasion.
So is Ralph Peters, the retired Army officer, an unarmed, pacifist now? Or is he the typical elitist who has weapons protecting him, but wants to deny them to others, the common people? Such people are despicable!
