No kidding?

Breaking news: A doctor points out that rifle rounds are more powerful than handgun rounds.

Did you guys know about this?

Great news for those who want to ban AR-15s because of the .223 cartridge:

Several gun manufacturers offer AR-15s that use the 9mm pistol cartridge!

So now they won’t want to ban that type of AR-15, right?

    Er, right?

I wonder who taught him to say that.

Sheesh; wait ’till they find out what a real hunting round, like a soft point from a 30-06 or a 270 Win will do. Hunting rounds from a 7 mm Mag…

We’d best not mention the 500 Smith HANDGUN. No way; far too confusing for doctors.

We’ve all heard accounts, for decades now, of how “ineffective” the 5.56 can be as a military cartridge. And they’ve been talking about going to a 6.5 or a 6.8 for years. Now the 5.56, which is illegal for deer hunting in WA State because it’s considered too wimpy, is suddenly more deadly than just about anything on the planet.

It’s almost as if there’s a political motivation to the story or something…

Handguns are worse because they’re so easily concealed. Intermediate rifles and carbines like ARs are worse because they’re “military”. Hunting rifles are worse because they’re even more powerful and because they’re essentially sniper rifles. Shotguns are worse because they spray a huge load of shot and “can’t miss”.

I guess that leaves BB guns. But the same leftist agitators hate BB guns too, and even plastic toy guns, or even a PopTart bitten into the shape of a gun.

But who ever asked us if we cared about what leftist agitators think?

Well I guess we do care or we wouldn’t be talking about them. In that sense they’ve been very successful– Everyone’s talking about them (thoughbeit in the same sort of way that the drunk at a party who throws up on the host and falls down the steps is talked about).

Do you think we should tell them that hunting bullets are far more deadly than military bullets? They’ll only “realize” that, of course, after military cartridges, and the guns that fire them, are banned. Only THEN will they suddenly catch on and tactically start understanding what “foot pounds energy” means.

And here I thought all guns were inherently dangerous.

And most states ban hunting with .223 because it’s not powerful enough!

  4. Robert Says:

In other breaking news, water is wet…story at 11!

  5. Ron W Says:

Most any gun is deadly in a gun free zone where officialdom keeps unarmed victims for murderers.

BTW, just wondering, why is it always a lone murderer in mass murder shootings whereas other murders, often occur with mulitiple assailants during “gang violence”, robberies, home invasions and such? For victims of the latter, a semi-auto rifle with standard capacity mags are one of the best self defense weapons. And that is the current “target” of the gun banners; the same ones who want to keep schools undefended.

  6. Sebastian Says:

I have friends and family now loudly proclaiming this article as a reason we need to ban rifles.

  7. Paul Koning Says:

Unfortunately, there is an extensive history of quacks pretending to have something intelligent to say about guns.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
