They only know the one song

Another mass shooting. Another with warning signs. This time they were ignored almost completely. And the press and the left (but I repeat myself) are in full gun control advocacy mode. There have not been 18 school shootings this year.

It’s a repeat of the last one. Lots of calls for “action” but no real definition of what “action” would be.

It has to be a conspiracy (and here I suppose I have to define the word as meaning two or more people colluding in some nefarious activity since that definition has been all but forgotten) because no one so far has mentioned the fact that making a credible death threat is a crime unto itself. Dipshit made a credible death threat, likely more than once, and could have been arrested and convicted on that alone. Someone (A) wanted him to carry it out, and many other someones (B) are ignoring the crime committed beforehand, and so they (A & B) must be in collusion. QED.

    Did I miss something?

“There have not been 18 school shootings this year.”

When I saw that in the news the other day, I just ignored it knowing it to be another of the endless lies by the media maggots.

    a) The FBI was warned about a YouTube user named Nikolas Cruz after he posted in September that he was “going to be a professional school shooter yet they ‘forgot’ to warn the local police.
    b) Deputies called to killer’s home 39 times!
    c) Was investigated after cutting himself on SNAPCHAT!
    d) He was expelled for disciplinary reasons from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida (expelled for allegedly for bringing knives to school.)
    e) A teacher at the school said Cruz had been identified as a potential threat to fellow students in the past. Math teacher Jim Gard told the Herald, “There were problems with him last year threatening students, and I guess he was asked to leave campus.”
    f) He posted on instagram photos of guns and knives and wanted more.
    g) Police Received a Tip That the Suspected Shooter Was Watching Videos About Making Bombs
    h) friends have said he was known to always be mentally ill and would kill animals.
    i) A YouTube account believed to be associated with him was also flagged for making troubling comments on various video posts in the past.

The comments include: “I wanna die Fighting killing shit ton of people,” “I am going to kill law enforcement one day they go after good people,” and “I’m going to be a professional school shooter.” A YouTube user reported the latter comment to law enforcement officials after it appeared on his video last September, and officials confirmed to CNN that the FBI had received a report about the post, which was promptly taken down.

Yes folks, everybody knew and everybody did nothing. Kind of hard to tell kids to ‘see something, say something’ and the authorities don’t do shit.

Nothing, Paul?? School officials told him he wasn’t allowed on campus with a backpack!

The Left Wing Mother Jones tracks mass shootings and they list exactly ONE school shooting this year. Amazing that a Left Wing Media outlet would tell the truth, but hey, miracles do happen.

Lyle, your comment reminds me of Matthew Bracken’s short story “Professor Raoul X” (Nov. 2011). I *hope* that his story is still fiction. Worth reading.

  7. Ron W Says:

@Lyle, excellent comment, particularly because MSM regular dismisses, lampoons or derides “conspiracy theories” while lately pushing their “collusion theories”. This demonstrates their incredible ignorance of basic word definitions as you rehearsed and that “conspiracy” and “collusion” are synonyms. So what’s the opposite of conspiracy theory, because the lone, crazy, shooter is ALWAYS the official story–end of story. And their reason: “the GUNS FELL in the wrong hands”…so the “collectivist, tyrannical solution of gun control….every time, on cue.

  8. Ron W Says:

Action: REPEAL the dastardly 1990 Federal Gun Free Schools law. Then allow adult school staff to arm themselves under State and local jurisdictions. It’s worked in Israel for decades. Start protecting our schools like we treat politicians, media, celebs, pro athletes, and other elitists WHO WANT TO KEEP SCHOOLS UNPROTECTED!

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
