Economic illiterate and general leech on society Bernie Sanders wants Trump to know that some patriotic millionaires want taxes raised. As is pointed out there, the Treasury accepts donations. So, write a check.
And, Bernie, how much extra do you donate to the Treasury every year?

The problem with paying extra is that no-one will know what a Good Person you are, or at least you can’t prove it.
I suggest that we make that possible.
In any tax year, if a person writes a bonus check to the US treasury, the IRS should review their total taxes owed (according to all their previous filings), and compare that to what they have paid in total, minimum required taxes plus bonus payments.
When the person has contributes 1%, 2%, 5%, 10%, 25%, 50%, 100% more than their minimum required federal tax payments, the IRS will engrave their name on a medal of some sort, serialize it, and send the taxpayer that medal. That person may wear the medal on any social occasion so their measurable patriotism can be recognized by all.
Of course, if you have become very rich, every year your taxes paid increases, so if you want the next better medal to one-up those so-and-so-es, you’re really going to have to dig deep to make the numerator and denominator add up to the right value. Maybe the IRS can provide a calculator to help.

By this, Bernie should donate at least one of his estates and of course all the money his wife got from bankrupting the college.
