The future of gun rights

And the history of gun rights on the internet make up this great read over at Sebastian’s. I can really disagree with in it. It’s important Trump get at least one more SCOTUS pic.

Also, that post reminded me this blog turned 15 back in August. I don’t think I mentioned that on that day. It can get its learner’s permit.

Same now as then, same as it will be; find and train one new shooter at time. This is the only clear path to victory.

I figure he has some good points.
    Figure this though.
The Elephant Party will cave on some form of “Scamnesty”.
I figure this gives the Donkey Party more votes.
Therefore, any “rollback of blaster regulation” either happens now, because 6 months prior to the next election it won’t go anyplace, and after, I would bet on less “blaster friendly” folk remaining in office.

To summarize…the Elephants fooled Blaster Owners yet again, because who else are they going to vote for? And next time there will be even fewer Elephants to pretend they support Mundanes owning more than a duck shotgun or deer rifle, so don’t look for a “rollback” on anything like, say “Hearing Protection” or such.

National Reciprocity was stuck with the poison pill of “fixing NICS” when in reality, the only “fix” was to scrap the thing.
“Fix NICS”…sure, pass another law to force existing law to be enforced yet again, that’ll work.

I predict the only place you’re ever going to hear “National Reciprocity” in the future will be fundraising letters from Everytown’s Demanding Mothers and the NRA.

    Fred…
That’s a great plan, but I only have one kid.
    Rickn8orr…
This isn’t FaceBorg, so I can only tell you that your comment is spectacular, prescient, and wise.
And I’m stealing it for later use.

    Congrats Unk!

  6. Patrick Henry, the 2nd Says:

Fix NICS was not a poison pill. It was a fair compromise to pass National Reciprocity.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
