Like you and me, only better

In NJ: Shaneen Allens Judge ONLY PERSON to get CCW Permit in Atlantic County. He’s important, ya know.

And in Colorado a state rep took her gun into the airport checkpoint. She won’t be charged. I’m sure they’d do the same for you, right?

Two more great examples of “The Aristocracy of Pull” — as Ayn Rand put it so perfectly.

  2. Ritchie Says:

The local Denver news reported that very few people are actually per..ah, prosecuted for having a pistol sneak into their luggage. I did find a dive knife left in a borrowed piece of luggage once. But, I checked.

I think Sebastian had something like that happen? Maybe just a round of ammo. I think he said theu put you on a list and if it happens again then you’re actually in trouble.

Rep. Saine did get arrested and taken off to jail. As we currently have a split legislature, Dem house, Rep Senate, a certain amount of collegiality is maintained to help anything at all get passed.

Yep, that whole equality of pigs thingie… Right?

At last report, the TSA missed about 80% of the contraband planted to test their ability to screen luggage and people. I am happy they found something in real life. I wonder if they missed four other guns though?

I had a pocket knife clipped in my pocket in a SS office. The fed security guard happened to see the clip and overreacted. Took me outside to get info and said I would be put on Homeland Security list and that I would be called. Never got a call.

I once got up to security and while emptying my pockets I noticed I had forgotten to remove a couple speed strips full of .357s. Oops, they didn’t have a problem with me just going back out to my car.

I once found a round of .380 hydra shock lying on the ground by the front door of my business and picked it up and carried it in my pocket with my change, for years, to remind me why I carried every day. I forgot I had it with me when checking in on a flight once and when I emptied my pocket, the agent said, “you can’t carry this little .380 round with you on the plane; I can just keep it or you can dispose of it.” In a hurry to make the flight, I just told him to keep it. But that was way before 9/11.

I had a round .40 in my check-on while going through security at Baltimore-Washington and the MS State Police were cool about it. He just admonished me to,”shake that bag upside down three time before you leave for the airport.”

BUT, the woman working the TSA line had some fun at my expense. She made scary faces and closed the line I was in. Everyone was staring at me (“the terrorist” holding a baby, no less) and then a minute later she thrusts her hand high in the air with the round and shouts, “got one!” and starts laughing while pointing at me. Everyone joins in.

Public shame as a security measure. I bet she is a good mother. To this day whenever I pack for the airport I shake my bag and laugh remembering what she did.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
