Not bad, but I like my copy of Sowell. Guess I’ll have to get a spre

  2. mariner Says:

    That’s funny.

  3. JTC Says:

Next edition: How to get your gun out of Sowell’s grip without breaking Rule Two.

  4. Bill Twist Says:

@JTC, if you look there are wide cut-out areas around the grip, where you could get your fingers in to pull it out without putting a booger-hook inside the bang-switch fence.

  5. Drake Says:

I spent a good chunk of the 80’s training how to use my guns on Socialists courtesy of the Marine Corps. Better times.

  6. JTC Says:

BT, I saw that but I defy anyone who needs their piece in a hurry to delicately ease it out with fingertips and not grab what is grabable to get it out fast.

Same as some of the dumbass carry rigs, pouches, etc. that I see…only worse. Decent hidey hole for a home backup though, probably easiest thing is turn it over and drop it in your hand, of course that will drop the mag too and still no guarantee you won’t catch it by the bang switch.

If it’s stored unloaded/unchambered that would be safer, but really slows down the ready, and of course…Rule One.

    1. Put the palm of your hand flat on the book, with the grip of the pistol under your palm and the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.
    2. Turn the book upside down and let gravity deposit the gun into your hand.
Don’t thank me. Thank Sir Isaac.

  8. JTC Says:

o, daddy used to tell me, listen first, then talk.

For you I would paraphrase, read first, then type.

  9. Benjamin "Quirel" Warren Says:

“Well, that didn’t turn out like I expected, but I’ll bet that was the liveliest book-burning rally anyone’s had in years.”

  10. Jim Says:

The most important point of all: No socialist will ever, ever find it in that book. It’s obvious none of them have ever read a book on basic economics.
