Turkey’s gun culture

Gun ownership has soared there. To be honest, this headline surprised me as I was unaware of their gun laws. Turns out, there gun laws are categorized as restrictive. Seems they have a lot of unlicensed and unregistered guns.

With Syria, Iraq, Iran and some former Soviet satellites as neighbors, OF COURSE Turkey is awash in illegal guns. Think of it as Chicago’s south side, on a national scale.

I first read that as “Turkey gun culture” and was envisioning a bunch of camo-clad dudes in the cold morning mist toting 36″ barreled 10 gauges.

Then I realized that would be “Goose gun culture”. 🙂

Man that’s an ugly smiley. WTF is wrong with the SayUnc emoticon reader? 😉

    Winkies too!

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
