NFL doubles down

I haven’t commented on the taking a knee thing. Because I don’t care. Or watch the NFL. But that seems to have made their popularity drop. So, double down against middle America and start advocating gun control.

    I have come to the conclusion that the NFL, its spineless/ideological commissioner, the team owners and the easily manipulative and duped players thumbing their noses at America are dumber than a box of ball peen hammers*.

    They all deserve everything, and every loss, coming their way. Screw ’em all.

    *[I mean no disrespect to ball peen hammers]

    “and advocating to outlaw armor-piercing bullets and gun silencers the unions contend are a significant threat to law enforcement”

    Police unions should be publicly called on that utter BS, all the time.

    Because neither of those is a threat to law enforcement, let alone a “significant” one.

    As willing victims of a lifetime of social promotion, they have attained majority to find themselves oversized, undisciplined, semi-literate thugs who were never taught the economic facts of life. They labor under the delusion that the world owes them a seven-figure annual income entirely on the basis of their athletic abilities, comically failing to grasp the concept that all their talents are worth exactly zero unless someone willing to pay to watch them preform.

    They also have the besotted notion that the 1st Amendment gives you the right to be heard. Which someone undoubtedly must have told to them as I am quite certain they’ve never read the Constitution for themselves (how could they, it has no pictures?). Unless they come to see the error of their ways (figure the odds!), one reality that soon will come crashing down on many of them is it just isn’t possible to keep up the lease on the Bentley with what you can make flipping burgers at Mickey D’s. And comes the day when that man appears at their door with an American flag on his shoulder, a star on his chest and a warrant for their arrest in his hand for failing to make child support payments to their baby mamas, they will come face-to-face with one of the facts of life they have been conveniently evading since the first time they picked up a football. ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES.

    Welcome to the real world, you morons.

    I knew NFL was prejudiced and bigoted against the tens of millions of us who choose the RIGHT of armed self defense when they BANNED this Super Bowl commercial:

    It’s times like this when I regret that my lifelong achievement of never having watched a complete NFL game, and only saw parts of games when I happened to be in the same room temporarily, cannot be intensified.

    I’m already a net zero to them. Hard to see how I could become an effective net negative.

    The NFL has already taken stands against the 2A. I remember a case about ten years or so ago where they sanctioned a player for having his LICENSED firearm on the team’s property (he never carried it).

    The NFL supports ALL local gun-control efforts in the cities of their franchises, but they are NOTORIOUSLY silent on the thugs who do most of their mayhem with guns. In fact, some NFL players have been VERY public fans of gangster-rappers, and no one has ever gotten reprimanded for THAT.

    Nope, the NFL is no friend of Liberty, and it is time to take away their magic shield that lets them flout all sort of corporate-practices laws and dodge huge taxes.

    @Rivrdog,

    Apparently no one protested that sanctioning of a player legally carrying the means to armed self defense?? I wonder if the player happened to be black? The 1857 SCOTUS Dred Scott decision kept black people as non-persons and legal slaves lest “they be able to go armed everywhere they went”. Preventing the exercise of one’s right of armed self defense is explicitly a vestige of SLAVERY! Incredibly, the NFL kneelers aren’t protesting that!! Why?!
