Only two guns

Some bonehead thinks limiting Americans to two guns would be groovy. The idea is stupid as Hell. But if you could only own two, what would they be? My answer is, obviously, an AR-15 and a black plastic people popper of the Glock or M&P variety.

  1. Justin Says:

It depends on what I am into at the time. A multi-caliber ar and a black pistol, but sometimes I might have to sub in a shot gun for bird hunting.

  2. FiftycalTX Says:

well, first the FEDS are going to have to come to my house and search it to find out “how many I have”. And if they don’t have a warrant, I’m going to tell them to GO FUCK THEMSELVES. Or they will try and break down the door. Then things get sporting. And by the time they rinse and repeat this scenario a few MILLION times before they get to Texas, we will either have a full blown police state or some form of freedom will have been reinstated.

  3. JTC Says:

So who will be doing this limiting? And more to the point the enforcing? Can you say insurrection?

  4. Ron W Says:

“So who will be doing this limiting?” –JTC

  5. Will Brown Says:

I’d go with an AR-10 (or pretty much anybody’s AR chambered in either .308 or 7.62×39 – I like my Windhom Weaponry offering but YMMV) and probably the M&P 9 since mine already has the Crimson Trace grip sight attached and neither of my Glocks has a laser sight.

  6. TriggerFinger Says:

Oh, gosh, I guess whatever I managed to save from that tragic boating accident last year.

  7. Paul Says:

    So many choices ….
any of my ARs . 5.56 or 7.62×39 . Even like my old Norinco SKS . And either my 41 mag or my XD45 .

I wish I still had them all . Just a reminder , never boat and shoot at the same time . A simple mishap and you could lose them all .

Chill, man, have a decaf and breathe into a paper bag. It’s just a hypothetical game, like “if you could only own two cars, what would they be” or “if you could only own two pairs of shoes,” etc.
As for me, I’d probably go with a (repro) Remington Army, a (repro) Colt Revolving Carbine, a (repro) double coach gun, a (repro) Pocket Remington . . . (They’re not firearms, look it up.)
Oh, firearms? Probably an SKS and a Model 686. That way I wouldn’t have to worry about magazines.

  9. Publius Says:

    .357 magnum revolver & AR-10

  10. FiftycalTX Says:

NO FUCKING WAY! This “game” is to “normalize” the gungrabbers intention to lower the threshold of “well, how many gunz is too many gunz”. They expect ME, a “normal” gun owner to reply with “well, two isn’t enough” and they will come back with “well, how many do you NEED”? And the answer to that debate is NONE OF YOUR FUCKING BUSINESS! The “universal background check” is a trojan horse that will FAIL and then the gungrabbers will say “well, we can’t know who owns what without GUN REGISTRATION!” So I don’t PLAY their game. I support NRA in “compromising” bump fire with national reciprocity AND taking suppressors off NFA (LEARN THE TECHNOLOGICAL NAMES AND USE THEM). But I WILL NOT PLAY the Game of “how many gunz do you “need”.

  11. FiftycalTX Says:

Oh, BTW, I just sent NRA/ILA $100 to FIGHT the gungrabbers. HOW MUCH HAVE YOU SENT THEM?

  12. Paul Koning Says:

My answer would be a 1911 and a Barrett .50.

  13. Ron W Says:

@Publius, IF I was CHOOSING to only have two guns, my choice would be the same calibers, my M1A and my .357 Magnum revolver.

The only good thing about such a limitation is: “Beware the man with one rifle, he’s probably very good with it.”

  14. SPM Says:

I’ll have two of everything, thank you.

  15. Fred Says:

One to shoot tyrants in the head and the other to shoot the appeasers who pretend to be pro gun.

  16. J T Bolt Says:

    Sure YOU get the comments

  17. HL Says:

    FN SCAR 16
    FN SCAR 17

  18. JTC Says:

Something in 5.56 and something in 9mm. Because ammo.

Should it ever come to attempted enforcement of such as this, restricting ammunition will be their tool. But they will NEVER find all the old-school nato stuff.

  19. majmike Says:

I’d keep my HK91 and the beloved M1911a1. That said, I’ll not turn in any that I currently own.

  20. Ron W Says:

    Good point, JTC.

  21. mikee Says:

    I obviously misunderstand the question.
I read the instructions as which two would I carry at the same time, not which two would I limit myself to owning.
And I think if necessary I could carry three at a time.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
