I used to think gun control was the answer. My research told me otherwise
A lot of good stuff there. Essentially, she actually went out and read what pro gun people have been saying on the internet for years. And found out it was true. The internet has really changed the gun debate.

My wife once harassed me about wasting my time on political arguments on the book of faces, saying it will never change anyone’s mind. And a friends far left wing Democrat operative Elaine piped up and said “Actually, he convinced me. I don’t like guns but I changed my mind on gun control.”
It’s possible.

It is not hard to get someone to see truth and facts if they WANT to know the truth . If they base their opinions strictly on “feelings” etc , it is mostly a lost cause .

The anti-gunners have had no new arguments to their lies, disproven assertions, and anti-factual emotional appeals since at least Heller v DC. They trot out the same old canards every chance they get, in part because they have nothing new, in part because they suspect that the anti-gun chipping away at rights eventually will lead to de facto bans of legal firearm ownership. To Hell with them all.

Exactly the kind of awakening that I referenced in your recent piece about the former girl banger turned grabber. We need a lot more of them who will look and listen to the facts and not be driven by their owners.
