Good gun use / bad gun use

Good: A shooter was stopped by a CHL holder.

Bad: A firearms instructor negligently shoots a student. Based on the account, why was the guy shooting through a door to begin with?

Joe Biden told him to shoot through the door.

The other day over here in Asheville an armed customer at a quickee mart stopped an armed robbery.

Good the po po showed up because people had a lot of feelings, or something.

Pet Peeve: TV, radio stations, and newspapers, that don’t identify where they are; did this occur in Arlington, Virginia; Arlington, Massachusetts; Arlington, Texas or Arlington, France?

Turns out “Texas” because after enough mouse clicks one discovers WFAA radio started in Dallas in 1925 (well before every station west of the Mississippi got a call sign starting with “K”).

Your newspaper may be local, people, but your internet ain’t.

Most instructors I’ve met don’t even allow ammo in the classroom.

I’ve read that Ayoob wears body armor when instructing handgun students.

Mikee, if he does it’s pretty low-profile stuff.

Good on the CHL holder saving untold lives. Nonetheless amazed that he not only carried, but *used* a handgun in a bar in Arlington yet somehow wasn’t arrested.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
