But they don’t have much to choose from. Hopefully the microstamping legislation gets overturned at Supreme Court Level, but that’s a long shot.

Must be a lot of revolver sales since those aren’t governed by microstamping.

How long before these new handgun owners start saying “What kind of stupid bullshit gun law is THIS??”

  3. Jailer Says:

Is that increase from the LEO straw purchases?

“But they don’t have much to choose from.”

Sure they do. There are at least 44 states in the U.S. Vote with your feet.

(“No”, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Connecticut, and Massachusetts are NOT states)

  5. Ron W Says:

@Tim, they’re slave states. As the 1857 SCOTUS Dred Scott majority opinion kept black people as non-persons and slaves lest “they be able to go armed everywhere they went”.

What the LA Times writer and the antigun “experts” quoted in the article fail to accept, in fact rather stubbornly refuse to even contemplate, is that self defense is an individual, inherent, inalienable human right. No matter the odds of success. No matter if future harm may occur to the same individual for attempting self defense now. No matter what anyone else thinks of their individual efforts to prepare a means of self defense.

It never crosses their minds, except for them to say, with self-righteous superiority, in effect, “You’ll shoot your eye out, kid!”

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
