  1. Ron W Says:

And if you’re in a wreck caused by a drunk driver, find out what he was drinking so you can sue the brewery or distillery.

  2. Ravenwood Says:

What’s sad is that the ruling is based on a law that specifically protects gun stores. It oughta be based on common sense.

  3. mikee Says:

This made it to the state Supreme Court? Why? Should have been dismissed at the first level of judicial scrutiny, or better yet by the lawyer for the plaintiff.

That lawyer should be disciplined for bringing a frivolous lawsuit with zero chance of succeeding under the law.

  4. rickn8or Says:

mikee, the defendant’s lawyer should also have his pee-pee whacked for not pointing out the state law protecting gun shops, etc. in his opening statement. (But that wouldn’t generate those ol’ Billable Hours.)

OTOH, the constitutionality of the state law has been confirmed.

  5. Austrian Anarchy Says:

Bit of course, since the people who certified that driver with a driving permission slip have sovereign immunity and no quality control accountability of any sort.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
