Things I learned today

Caleb’s video on the 5 best guns for concealed carry, where I learned they now make 15 round magazines for Sig P229s. I have about 10 or so 13 rounders.

Good to know. I have a couple of P226s, and have been coveting a P229. This pretty much seals it.

Interesting, I carry a P229 and have two 15 rd Sig Sauer mags, one that came with the pistol about a year ago and one I bought online a week later.
    Great pistol, stone cold reliable.

If you have an older model 229, you’ll need to get the improved Mec-gar 15 round magazines (for P228) to fit. The new “E2” models come with 15 rounds standard but have a slightly different frame and use what are called “dash 1” factory magazines.

Interesting, but I have two P229 and while they are great to shoot, they are heavy. I love them but have moved to the MP9c and Shield as they are lighter.

I have the 228 which is a couple oz. lighter than the 229. Great gun but just to heavy to carry.
With all the polymer guns available there is just no reason to carry a brick (of course YMMV).

Yea I have 20 round mags for my 229. Uses 226 mags with a xgrip adapter. Not for carrying but at the range.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
