Correlation

Why does the city with the strictest gun laws have the most accidental deaths?

    Three Reasons:

    1) Guns are so uncommon that your average joe has no idea how to handle one.

    2) They are the forbidden fruit, man! Kid’s and adults alike want to play with them because because they never get the opportunity to do it in an open and safe environment.

    3) Any population who would vote for the kind of nanny-state, bed-wetting government they have must be full of brain-dead fuckwits. And they are all on drugs.

The Eddie Eagle info graphic you linked to yesterday show a mere 50 gun-related accidents involving children in 2014. This post says that the following year there were 111?

  3. Shrimp Says:

@ MrSatyre: Depends upon how you define child, doesn’t it? Is a 16 year old fatality from gangbangers shooting at homies from the other side of the ‘hood a “child?” How about 19 years old? Heck, years ago the brady bunch went so far as to include 24 year old “children” in their “classroom of kids dying every day” shtick.

Need to see the original data and define what a child is before the stats really mean anything.

    @ Shrimp: Yes, totally agree.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
