Gun Porn

A July 1966 issue of Guns magazine with The Guns of Vietnam. Very cool.

The Ruger LCR in 327 Federal Magnum.

Lots of good reading in that magazine.

There is a letter to the editor ripping on some dude and his gun conversions that the mag did an article about. The mag had a response written by the conversion gunsmith, by the name of Dick Casull.

That magazine is fifty years old, and it is referring to an individual, constitutional right to bear arms. Funny. My betters tell me that the NRA invented that argument out of whole cloth in the 1990s.

I agree – that was good reading.
Especially, the Norwegian 1911s for $50!!!

The funniest article was about banning gun shows.
In 1966, the gun show loophole was that licensed dealers could only sell at their premises and weren’t supposed to sell at gun shows.

OK, what is that rifle they mistakenly ID as an SKS?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
