On the debate

Yeah, I watched it. I was unimpressed. Hillary seemed medicated. Her freaky eye movements were distracting. And she had obviously memorized a bunch of talking points and could rattle them off when prompted.

Trump owned the first half hour or so. Then sort of lost it. He was not on his A game after and, frankly, didn’t do very well or come across well. I’m not sure if he got flustered or what.

The moderator seemed to let Clinton state her talking point and then would rarely follow up. Trump got a lot more follow up questions. The camera was odd too. Throughout the debate, we could see both candidates on split screen. And we saw Trump drink a lot of water. Probably not good optics. And the camera play favored Hillary if you buy into the whole people prefer tall people thing.

The format was stale, I thought.

Same old, insulting shit. Different day.

The insult of course is that they expect us to take them oh, so seriously. OK, I take them seriously, in much the same way I’d take a rabid dog seriously.

I agree with Scott Adams, Hillary won the debate, while Trump was winning the election.

I expect the real targets, the “undecided” only watched the first half hour or so before moving on to more interesting fare. By definition, those still choosing aren’t big political junkies.

In that first half hour, Trump really nailed Clinton as “old and busted” with the challenge of why she hadn’t tried her plans during her long tenure in government.

Trump just has to look competent and not a wild man… and he will win. And it looks like a lot of Republicans will win offices to!

But remember folks, Democrats cheat. Dead, criminals, insane, all get to vote.. many times twice.

Going to have to be a landslide to make the cheating moot.

The way presidential debates should be:

    1. All ballot-qualified candidates included, either in all 50 States or in enough States to win 270 electoral votes.

    2. One neutral moderator to keep time and call on panelists.

    3. Each candidate brings their own person to be on the debate panel of questioners.

Since my mind was made up months ago (ABH), I watched my beloved, ridiculously injured and dilapidated Saints lose to Atlanta at home in the Dome. I’m still cryin’ in my Pat O’Brien’s Hurricane glass of beer.

When over 2/3 of voters don’t trust and loathe HilLIARy, these debates are nothing more than money making dog & pony shows for the “Trash Trump 24/7” TV networks.

November the 8th can’t get here soon enough for me.

A possible “conspiracy theory” re: the eyes:

“Conspiracy”, you know, where two or more persons purpose, plan and clandestinely carry out some action.

My thought was amphetamines to keep her vertical for an hour and a half.

    Her eyes said it all.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
