This is a variation of the old anti gun BS about making gun ownership as “difficult” as driving a car, or getting a prescription, or anything else. The idea is to demonize self defense by comparing gun ownership with a supposedly “more regulated” activity, then saying that easy gun ownership leads only to violence. That driving a car or getting a prescription isn’t harder than buying & owning a gun is one failure mode of BS argument. Another failure is the ignoring of any idea of rights existing around an individual’s actions. In other words, BS from start to finish.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
