Gotta get them trained in compliance early

Well, OK:

A south-east Queensland kindergarten has embraced children’s interest in toy guns by issuing them with their own licence.

Communists always go after the youth first. They’re not “your” children, they’re “our” children.

While I’m not a fan of their “license” requirement, I can see some merit to the “treat toy guns like real guns” approach with safety rules and a safe storage location. Learning those lessons early will likely pay off later – assuming the country will have any guns left to be safe with when the kids are grown.

At least the kids get to play with toy guns. At least the school acknowledges that normal people use guns safely. It’s a much better approach than America’s zero-tolerance insanity.

Actually, this line of thinking has potential. Think about it: if kindergartens handled everything during playtime like it is handled in the real world, kids could develop a healthy disdain for the State.

“Oh, you want to play with that truck, Tommy? Do you have your play CDL? No? Go see Jenny at the DMV for the paperwork, then head to Rufus’s Tonka driving school to complete the necessary training.”

“Jane, sweetie, you can’t build your tower there. This play mat isn’t zoned for Duplos.”

I’m with Zuplex. Other than the actual license requirement (and, like it or not, it is The Law – even if it’s a stupid one), the safety lessons are falling on fertile ground.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
