Gone to Louisville

I’ll be heading to Louisville, KY for the NRA Annual Meeting. So, as often happens at these things, blogging may be light. Or there may be a ton of it. I’ll get there tomorrow. If you’re there, look me up. And, other than a Thursday night thing, I’ve made no real plans for Friday or Saturday. Let me know if you have recommendations.

    See you there!

  2. Kevin Baker Says:

Wish I were going, but I REFUSE to fly if I don’t have to.

  3. Ron W Says:

    I’m with you, Kevin.

  4. MJM Says:

With Trump SC nominations disclosed, I’m curious about the chatter at NRA 2016. Can’t make it this time, though. Hope you have a great time.

  5. JTC Says:

You know they’ll have a giant banner of that Bush-Obama 2000-2015 NICS chart, Little G with that shit-eatin’ grin of his, and Zero with a big brownie frownie…maybe present a trophy of it, in absentia.

You’d think somebody with all them smarts and who is all about laws would understand the one about Unintended Consequences.

  6. JTC Says:

Local group of LEO brass have a VIP invite from a big mfg. and offered me a seat on their bus with everything paid, but 14 hrs up and 14 back to have 8 hrs of fun ain’t too appealing to me.

Plus this is pretty much the same group that has the rowdiest party at the Sebring race every year and tries to lure me in; they outrank everybody who is supposed to calm the boozers down, and I made that mistake once a while back. This NRA roadtrip would probably be the same.

Nah, I’m too old for that shit anymore.

  7. Sebastian Says:

See you there. I’m taking two types of Pennsylvania Rye Whiskey there, since last time we were there we were all drinking Tennessee Whiskey in Kentucky.

  8. Alien Says:

Sitting this one out, looking forward to Hotlanta in ’17. Have fun.

  9. Chas Says:

After I was raped by the SAFE Act, the NRA can go fuck itself. Dues no more. I have to retire, and the NRA is a bad investment. They can go to hell.

  10. Jody Says:

    +1 to what Chas said.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
