  1. Erik Says:

And that will probably be the last money he ever makes.

  2. JTC Says:

Right now it’s birds in the bush, good luck getting ’em in hand, Z.

  3. SD3 Says:

$120k. Did the winner buy the gun or the whole Kel-Tec company?

  4. Joe Says:

So, was the buyer Sharpton, or BLM, or maybe Chuck Schumer? Because getting deadly guns off the street is something they can all support!

  5. Fred Says:

That boy is a case study in poor decision making.

  6. nk Says:

I don’t blame Zimmerman the least little bit for wanting to make some money.

Whoever bought the gun (if the story is true) might be a ghoulish person. Or he just wants to help out Zimmmerman and it’s really in the way of a donation like Zimmerman’s defense fund.

But, yeah, just because Zimmerman got a raw deal does not make him a hero.

    +1 on nk.

  8. Mike R. Says:

I wonder if he has thought about taxes? With a basis of about $400 for that sale, capital gains taxes seem likely to be rather harsh.

  9. Lyle Says:

Mike R; whether it counts as cap gains or regular income, the tax burden will be harsh. It always is.

  10. Chas Says:

Cool. After being raped by the system, the Zim gets an out. Fuck the system.

  11. Chas Says:

Rape the left, before it rapes you.

  12. Kristophr Says:

I hope he buys a better gun, and a Massad Ayoob LFI course, with the after-tax income.

  13. Robert Says:

Well, at least he doesn’t have state taxes in FL.

  14. JTC Says:

Mas would likely give him a sponsored course series, and cut him in for part of the take.

It’s the only time I’ve seen MA have blinders on in dissecting such a case, and stubbornly keep them on when removing them could have been beneficial to his audience at large.

  15. Linoge Says:

    Good for him.

It’s crass as all get-out, but it’s his property, and he’s free to do with it as he pleases.

That someone would actually pay that much for a KelTec is even more concerning.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
