Oopsie

In other news, the press didn’t get the memo that when the police have them they are “patrol rifles” and not “assault weapons”

Officer’s AR-15 stolen. Looks like they need safe storage laws.

Silly Commie Pope

Good lord, shut this man up:

Pope Francis on Thursday washed and kissed the feet of refugees, including three Muslim men, and condemned arms makers as partly responsible for Islamist militant attacks that killed at least 31 people in Brussels.

It’s not his first bit of stupidity on guns. That would be saying arms makers cannot call themselves Christians.

Skynet looming

So, Microsoft created an AI bot that would learn to interact with people on social media. Within 24 hours of being on the internet, it became racist, national socialist, pervert conspiracy theorist.

And this is why we should maybe reconsider this whole artificial intelligence thing.

So, he engaged in lawful commerce?

And hates that he has that freedom:

In an effort to highlight a need for enhancing background check requirements, Rep. Mike Stewart brought a newly purchased semi-automatic rifle to Legislative Plaza on Wednesday.

Stewart, D-Nashville, had the military-style weapon with him during a House Civil Justice Subcommittee meeting where he presented two bills that would bolster requirements for background checks.

While holding an AR-15 style rifle, Stewart said he purchased the weapon on Tuesday after finding a seller on the Internet. Within hours of his purchase, Stewart said he picked up the weapon in the parking lot of a restaurant in Davidson County, without ever undergoing a background check.

Luckily I am not a member of a drug cartel. I am not on a terrorist watch list. I am not a longtime criminal with a big record of felony convictions and violence,” he said, adding if he had gone to Walmart he wouldve had to undergo a background check.

He also displayed some unsafe gun handling practices.

The lack of self awareness is stunning

A woman, who is only known because of who she married, goes on a rant about the big ol’ sexist world she grew up in.

It’s what they do

Bloomberg’s anti-gun group put out a piece saying the rise in women’s gun ownership was a myth. They are, of course, lying.

For God’s sake

So, a bunch of social justice warriors feel threatened over a presidential slogan written in chalk. I shit you not. Even worse, the university is pandering to these hysterical loons. Says one special snowflake:

I dont deserve to feel afraid at my school.

Yeah, you do. Particularly if you’re that unable to react normally to a view you disagree with.

Somebody take these people to the woods and leave them there.

Disregard for the law

Like hell we’re not.

Just buy the plastic guns already

Bureaucracy at work:

Gen. Mark Milley has used recent public appearances to criticize federal acquisition guidelines that all services must follow when choosing and purchasing weapons and equipment.

During a March 10 speaking engagement at a conference in Washington, D.C., for instance, Milley chastised a bureaucratic acquisition system for making it overly complicated to field equipment in a timely manner, citing the service’s Modular Handgun System, or MHS, effort as a prime example.

The Army launched its long-awaited XM17 MHS competition in late August to replace its Cold-War era, M9 9mm pistol.
Milley criticized the program’s 356-page requirement document and lengthy testing phase slated to cost $17 million for technology that has existed for years.

“The testing itself is two years long on known technology,” Milley told law makers at a March 16 House Armed Services Committee hearing.

“We are not talking about nuclear subs or going to the moon here. We are talking about a pistol.”

But behind the scenes, Milley has moved beyond criticism and taken steps to select a new sidearm for soldiers, including exploring the possibility of bypassing the MHS effort altogether.

He’s a smart man. They’re wanting to switch to Glocks.

Felons and guns

If you’re too dangerous to own a gun, you should still be in prison. Convicted of the violent crime of securities fraud, the man cannot own a gun lawfully. He’s fighting that.

SCOTUS: Stun guns protected by the second amendment

Big news today as the Supreme Court unanimously told the Massachusetts Supreme Court that it got it wrong when it ruled that stun guns are not protected by the second amendment:

The Court has held that the Second Amendment ex- tends, prima facie, to all instruments that constitute bearable arms, even those that were not in existence at the time of the founding, District of Columbia v. Heller, 554 U. S. 570, 582 (2008), and that this Second Amend- ment right is fully applicable to the States, McDonald v. Chicago, 561 U. S. 742, 750 (2010). In this case, the Su- preme Judicial Court of Massachusetts upheld a Massa- chusetts law prohibiting the possession of stun guns after examining whether a stun gun is the type of weapon contemplated by Congress in 1789 as being protected by the Second Amendment. 470 Mass. 774, 777, 26 N. E. 3d 688, 691 (2015).

A concurring opinion by Alito blasts MA:

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts was either unable or unwilling to do what was necessary to protect Jaime Caetano, so she was forced to protect herself . . . To make matters worse, the Commonwealth chose to deploy its prosecutorial resources to prosecute and convict her of a criminal offense for arming herself with a nonlethal weapon that may well have saved her life. The Supreme Judicial Court then affirmed her conviction on the flimsiest of grounds.

Booby Trap Bras

A sports bra that can hold a knife. I think they need one that holds a gun. From this news story:

A year ago, mother-of-two Jennifer Cutrona was off running on her favorite trail near her home in Texas earbuds in and her mind focused on an upcoming marathon when a man suddenly leapt out from the woods and tried to grab her.

I got away from the guy, but was extremely upset at how oblivious I had been to this possibility, Cutrona told FoxNews.com. I did not want to listen to anyone who would try to scare me from being free to run my favorite spots.

The incident inspired Cutrona to think about the need for women to be fully prepared, even when dressed down for a run. Soon after, Booby Trap Bras was born a line of sports bras made with self-defense in mind.

Remember Handgun Control, Inc?

There’s a reason the anti gun side is always changing its name and merging.
