Fighting against a crowd

Some thoughts from Oleg. Obviously, first thing is to get out and, also, not get trapped in. Beyond that, I think the 17 round gun and shooting the biggest/loudest/scariest antagonist right in the face for effect may deter others. Or it may not. But go down fighting.

It’s probably a good idea to keep a grenade handy.

  2. JK Brown Says:

If you have to shoot, blowing brains all over the crowd will have a beneficial effect for your escape.

But most importantly, shoot while you are moving and don’t stop for anything until you are clear. The shock will give you a few seconds, don’t waste them stunned like the crowd will. Anyone not stunned by the shot is your next target.

    Rules of Gunfights:
1 – Have a gun (guns is better)
2 – Have plenty of bullets (at least 1 more than you needed)
3 – Have similarly armed friends with you

  4. jerry the geek Says:

    1 have a rifle
    2 have friends with rifles
3 be within rifle distance, but not within pistol distance
    4 call for an airstrike

How one trains for emergencies is how one reacts in emergencies. Practice makes master, as the old saying goes.

Unless one has a dozen friends who will do a Simunition course or paintball battle against you, realistic training for crowd violence is hard to accomplish. But at least thinking through a possible event in advance will help guide your actions if something happens.

Why my FAL mags are loaded with military ball.

The only time I see myself grabbing the FAL is if there is a riot nearby, and with that I’m GOING for overpenetration.

And JK, somebody falling over gut-shot with a through-and-through GSW screaming bloody murder might also be just as nice as an exploding skull.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
