That gun from America that was used in the Paris attacks?

Yeah, not so much:

Zastava said it exported a gun with that serial number to Delray Beach, Florida-based Century Arms in 2013. According to the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the gun was received by Century and eventually sent to a federal firearms licensee in the United States and purchased by an individual in February 2014. In March of this year it was recovered at a crime scene in Mexico and is still in the custody of Mexican officials, ATF said.

I wonder if it was a fast and furious gun?

  1. one-eyed Jack Says:

ATF can (has) traced the gun to the individual, but will keep the info confidential because it might “compromise an ongoing investigation”. If it was a FF gun, the info will be confidential forever. Jack.

  2. Mark Matis Says:

F&F was run out of their Phoenix Field Division. No indication this gun EVER went near their area of responsibility. Their Tampa Field Division was responsible for Operation Castaway, which ran weapons to Communist terrorists supporting former president Zelaya in Honduras. Not sure what the equivalent was for their Miami Field Division – smart money says EVERY ONE OF THEIR TWENTY-SIX Field Divisions had similar operations – but Miami was also more likely to smuggle weapons to Central or South America than to Mexico. BATFE most likely had nothing to do with this weapon’s travels.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
