In Nashville

Who let the hippies in? The city is banning a gun show for not doing law enforcement’s job for them. Or something.

So the rationale for the ban is that the three criminal cases since 2011 constitute what, exactly? An ongoing criminal enterprise? A conspiracy? A RICO case?

If so, charge those responsible (hint: they can’t, there is no one responsible except the three individual criminals).

By the standards used here, if three or more city officials, or users of official local services like the DMV or tax appraisal office, committed crimes, then the offices involved should be shut down.

Austin, TX, pulled the same crapola here, running a popular monthly gun show out of town on the basis of, well, something, I guess “feeeeeelings.”

I suspect this is a promoted anti-gun activity aimed at demonizing firearms.

This is not only a breech of contract with Bill good Goodman’sGun Show which has shows scheduled through next yearbut is a violation of Tennessee Law:

§ 39-17-1314. “State law prohibits local governments from engaging in any form of ‘regulation of firearms, ammunition, or components of firearms or ammunition, or combinations thereof including, but not limited to, the use, purchase, transfer, taxation, manufacture, ownership, possession, carrying, sale, acquisition, gift, devise, licensing, registration, storage, and transportation thereof

Hopefully Metro Nashville will be sued well. But it seems that the culprits should be arrested by State Police. Otherwise why are lesser public officials allowed to engage in brazen lawlessness with impunity?

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
