Question for Hillary: What did the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, which administers the US Munitions List and the export of all firearms (except shotguns) and other military or dual-use items do to stop the ATF’s illegal export of firearms to Mexico? Did DDTC enforcement agents participate in Fast and Furious? If not, why were they not investigating these unlicensed exports?
In other word, there is no way the Secretary of State shouldn’t have been fully briefed on the BATF facilitating firearms crossing international borders since the agency must license all legal exports of firearms and administer a number of treaties.
