The ” zero tolerance” needs to be applied to the high school officials.

To liberals, there is no such thing as justifiable force. The recipient of force, whether it is unlawful force or not, is seen to them as a victim.
A rapist who is shot is seen to be just as much a victim as the person being raped.

Generally, zero tolerance only applies to some.
In my experience teaching, schools wonder why they are failing while they let certain kids get away with assault and bullying because publishing them perpetuates the school to prison pipeline. Then the gentle giants get shot and people blame everyone but the parents and schools,the only people who could teach a kid that you shouldn’t assault people for disrespecting you,before they run into “racists” who can’t be bullied.

the school hasn’t punished the kid at all. The first story got out and went round the world before the school could get permission to talk about the incident from the kid’s parents. Still says something very bad about our schools that we could so easily believe the story to begin with.

High school teen who defended a blind classmate who was being beaten by a bully is SUSPENDED and kicked off football team.
When my daughter was kicked out of high school for being “somewhat bold”, I didn’t fight it. I though it was appropriate that since the school couldn’t handle a “somewhat bold” student, then that school was no place for her. Good riddance. I did tell the principle that I had previously believed one of the roles of a school to be that of making sure all of their graduates were “somewhat bold”. The guy who stopped the bully should be grateful he was kicked out– that shithole of school is clearly no place for him.

Something very similar happened to a nephew of mine some years ago. He was forced to write a letter of apology and pay the medical bills of the bully he flattened.

Right Lyle, many so called liberals (authoritarian leftists and useful idiots) would support any force necessary by government hired guns to disarm their fellow citizens.
