XM42 Flamethrower

Speaking of irrational want:

The XM42 is the worlds first fully handheld, grab and go flamethrower on the market.

Via Sebastian, who notes a mayor is trying to make it illegal. How they’d do that without banning super soakers is anyone’s guess.

The video sucks in that it shows you very little (that is a pet peeve for me – don’t make a promotional unless it’s going to be informative – and knock it off with fast edits – I’m turned away, not drawn in, on the assumption that if you had something real to show me, you’d really show me) and what I see appears to suck– the range seems very short and the fuel seems to be all consumed in flight.
