Sudden Jihad Syndrome

Driving to one of my developments today, I heard news a shooter at large in Chattanooga, which is about 1.25 hours away. So, I’m thinking it’s either some nutjob with mental problems. But, as I later learned, both locations were at military recruiting joints. So, I wondered if it was sudden Jihad syndrome or some Jade Helm whacko. Looks like the former. Also, though I cannot confirmed it, internet chatter says ISIS tweeted this before the fact. So, is the JV team now playing away games?

.gov alerts military personnel to be on the look out. But says no guns there.

But the sign worked. There are no bullet holes in the sign.

This is not the first time this has happened. It might be time for recruiters to start carrying a sidearm.

Today is the last day I go to work without appropriate arms in the truck. I have generally refrained due to the off chance I might need to go on base. Someone else can go. This might be a good job for that 300 blackout pdw im building

Harp… Some do. They’d rather be court martialed than dead.

aerodawg… That’s my thinking too. I have eaten at the restaurant thats right next door to the first scene, so it’s hitting home extra hard.

The dead giveaway was that, all morning, they wouldn’t release the perp’s name. That can only mean one thing; his name had to be Hahkalahka Muhammed Jihad Dirkadirka.

Gun free zones; making easy victims for mass killers for over twenty years.

The tweet was hours later. The 10:34 a.m. time stamp was from a screenshot taken in a different time zone.

Harp, our military were disarmed in 1993 by Clinton and subsequent administrations, Bush and Obama, have kept them that way. They evidently do not trust our military, since DHS considers military vets at the top, along with Constitutionalists, pro- liberty, anti-ILLLEGAL immigration, gunowners, etc. as the most dangerous potential terrorists. Yet these same ruling elites have maintained open borders and continued to allow and even bring in immigrants from countries from whence Islamic jihadists hail. “None dare call it treason.”

I’d like to point out that TN legislature and Gov. made the right call on passing guns-in-parks this spring. Local municipalities should have never restricted local HCP carry in their parks.

The Naval Support Center on Amnicola Hwy is almost completely surrounded by TN Riverpark and was a gun free zone before this new law. Access to the Naval Center is through Riverpark entrance.

I live in Chattanooga and frequent Amnicola Hwy, even yesterday. I always carry. Because.

  8. Drang Says:

Alas, the disarming of military personnel on post was enacted under Bush the Elder in ’92.

Anyway. OldNFO had a link to this: Re-instate the Right to Bear Arms to All Military Personnel By Allowing Concealed Carry of Firearms While On Duty. | We the People: Your Voice in Our Government

As a retired military guy, I resent the fact that my Texas concealed carry permit is not honored when I visit the PX/BX or to pick up medical prescriptions. It has been proven that the MP/Security Forces cannot protect me while on post (remember Ft. Hood).

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
