I love the argument Rep. Clayton makes. It is the same as that used to oppose Campus Carry. “See, if you don’t bar carry in place “x”, the children there will be at risk… from the same carriers they are around in every other place they go in public.”
It is irrational and nonsensical on its face, instant evidence of a person who feels rather than thinks rationally, coherently, and with intellectual consistency.
Bad news for would-be mass murderers who face the prospect of immediate failure, and very disappointing for gun control pushers – there will be no body count from a mass murder to help them drive their agenda.
