What I learned from the SC church shooting

Seems that if you take down a confederate flag at the state capitol, that will fix everything. Except it’s not at the state capitol nor is it a confederate flag.

And, also, a lone gun man who can’t find other racists to join his race war party is because of institutional racism.

Well, it destroys the morale of the racist mass murderer. Hopefully eliminating the environment that created this murder spree will prevent it from happening again.

Now just need to get GA and MS in line.

  2. nk Says:

Heh! The real Confederate flag is white stars and white bars on a white background. I wonder if there are still some Royalists flying the Union Jack and pledging allegiance to the Queen somewhere in the original 13 colonies.

  3. Mike V. Says:

What people think of as the Confederate flag is actually the flag of The Army of Northern Virginia, also know as “The Battle Flag.” You could fly the true flag of the CSA and 95% of people wouldn’t know what it is.

  4. the pawnbroker Says:

Yes, racist environments and the racists who create and inhabit them must be eliminate…ifyaknowwhatimean.

  5. Huck Says:

Leave the Stars and Bars and the Southern Cross alone! They’re a part of our history.

Joshua Chamberlain once stated that he considered the Confederate flag to be a symbol of pride, courage, and honor. Things that the scum who squeal to have it banned don’t have and know nothing about.

    I fly mine with pride.

Never let a crisis go to waste.

  7. the pawnbroker Says:

My comment at .4 meaning that the racism here is entirely of the reverse variety, and referencing the racist comment at the top. Effing idiot.

  8. oldradartech Says:

15 years ago the flag was removed from the capitol dome to the confederate war memorial.

Now the left wants it removed from the memorial.

15 years from now (or more likely immediately after they get the flag removed) they will be agitating to remove the memorial itself.

Like “reasonable” gun control laws, removing the flag will make no difference, will not satisfy them, and is meaningless beyond giving them something to complain about.

Would you allow them to remove the flag from Arlington or the Tomb of the unknown soldier because it might hurt the feelings of immigrants?

We will eventually have to stand against their tantrums and demands, or resign ourselves to being ruled by the equivalents of a five year old who won’t stop screaming unless we give him what he wants.

My comment at 4. is of course to say that, other than the one nutball jihadi who like all nutball jihadis of various stripes imagines that the gods, the ancestors, and the virgins will adore and revere him, the racism in this case is entirely of the “reverse” variety, and to confirm the racists who would use such a singular tragedy to blood-dance and advance their racist cause, ie: politicians, media, celebrities, academics and the commenter at the top, are indeed nothing but pathetic, racist opportunists and progs.

  10. Ellen Says:

Like hell will that five-year-old stop screaming. The screams will simply shift to another WANT.

  11. the pawnbroker Says:

oldradartech, no doubt next will be the Gadsden, to assuage the feewings of the vanquished, and advance the agenda of the establihment.

  12. Ron W Says:

Oldradartech, no, they will want to criminalize individual display and expressions.

  13. harp1034 Says:

They are already trying to get John C. Calhoun’s statue removed. Also Jefferson Davis here in Texas. Ron W. and Oldradartech are both right.

  14. Ron W Says:

Next it will be that those who oppose reactionary, fascist gun control legislation will be labeled racist.

  15. Justaguy Says:

    YOU’RE DOING IT WRONG

Do you want to end democrats riding on the coattails of racism yet again by jumping on a non-sequitur? Fine easily done. Repeat after me:

“I for one understand that it’s a confederate battle flag, and while I think that the memorial is appropriate, I think it’s high time that we took down a reminder of democrat led race wars called “the civil war”. Isn’t it time that we have a real conversation about democrats and their use of race as a tool of the ignorant? Let’s remove that flag, but lets not forget who raised it.”

Now repeat these 3 themes over and over:

“Using race as a political tool only works on the ignorant”

“The difference between democrat run ghettos and slave camps are, they don’t get their hands dirty in the ghettos”

“This was an attack on people of faith, by a racist atheist, sounds like a card carrying member of the democratic party (this requires a heavy divergence from fact, but shit facts are not a real issue with democrats)”

BTW yes I do know that the civil war have very little to do with race, but I am tired of using hard facts and fighting against lies, so half truths it is.

  16. Ron W Says:

Good points, Justaguy. The perp also reportedly divulged that he chose it because it was a known gun-free zone where most every mass murder shootings have and did occur. Democrats put these in place and maintain them, thus siding and abetting these perps with easy prey.

  17. Chris Says:

I am just now in the process of joining the SCV in Tn.

I suspect that there will be a movement afoot to remove the SCV license plate by the Tn DOT and a fair amount of Dems and Rinos in our government.

When my wife and I renovate our house, we are going to have multiple flag poles, including the Stars and Stripes, the Tn flag and the Bonny Blue of the Confederacy.

  18. bogie Says:

And Amazon refusing to sell Confederate Flags is going to stop any and all shootings that may, or may not, be related to racists.

  19. Will Says:

Interesting gun control history of the church shooting site:

    http://rivrdog.typepad.com/rivrdog/2015/06/the-ame-church-and-the-second-amendment.html

Also, Chris Byrne has an informative post on the flag situation:

    http://anarchangel.blogspot.com/2015/06/wounds-and-scars-and-battle-flags.html

  20. Ron W Says:

Chris, hopefully the liberal virtues of tolerance and diversity will apply to you too.

  21. Ron W Says:

Will, Good link re: the AME Church and the 2nd Amendment, thanks! And they will keep preaching and the government will keep imposing the gun free zones so these shootings can be carried out with impunity. But the ruling elites who impose them will be surrounded and protected by hired guns. Down through history, slaves were always disarmed and kept that way. And so it continues.

  22. Ron W Says:

And Will, thanks much for the “informative post” by Chris Byrne. I recommend it and it will offend everyone and if they can “turn the other cheek” they can learn to think outside the box and be more tolerant of everyone else; a great read indeed, but long.

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
