Uber bans guns

Here’s their policy. How would they know?

Notice “feels safe” not “be safe”. Guess I won’t be using Uber nor supporting their efforts to break the taxi cartel.

Uber driver with a carry permit stops a mass shooting in Chicago.

Uber is so horrified by this that they ban guns.

Uber would have preferred that more people got shot and killed. Screw em.

  3. Divemedic Says:

This is so that the next Uber driver that robs or rapes his fare can do so without fear of being injured.

So they will be discriminating against drivers and riders who don’t “feel safe” without guns. I was considering that as supplemental income during my recent retirement, but not now. I certainly wouldn’t “feel safe” driving around with people I don’t know going to and fro to unknown locations.

Uber originated in San Francisco. The hippies can use it if they want to. In the Chicago metro area, I have a choice of dozens of cab companies, livery and van services. And a U-Hail a mile and a half away where I can rent a Ford F-150 for $31.00/day, insurance & tax included. 😉

Remember, I do this to entertain me, not you.
